In my tree picture I would like to make the normally invisible energy qualities of trees visible. In as much as I come into contact with the energy of the respective tree, I function as a transformer. I attampt to determine which of the tree`s frequencies correspond to which colour qualities. I get it down in a sketch and then transfer the sketch to a rather large-format canvas.

Another way is to coat a material with information-bearing substances and to wrap it around an energetically powerful tree. After 24 hours the energy-carrier is taken off and I work on it further. To this end I put myself into a trance-like state and just allow the colous to flow. In the next stage I determine the special qualities of the tree and produce a sketch from this. A further step will be to put the tree quality in the context of themes of everyday life, of politics, of the enviroment, etc.
